Wednesday, August 4, 2023 The Danvers Historical Society Board of Trustees passed the ban unanimously: “That the Danvers Historical Society ban the use of single-use plastics and Styrofoam at Historical Society properties, with the understanding of reaching this goal in two years.”
The Trustees recognize the long-term environmental damage these products have and immediate strategies will be put in place. All practices at our properties will be evaluated carefully over the next two years.
