Danvers Third Grade History Week Program Makes Plymouth Wicked Local

Our Third Grade History Program that happens every June was cancelled this year due to Covid. Since there were several stories being told about having kids not in school or doing anything was becoming a burden, we decided to put together some virtual activities on Facebook and YouTube so kids could still learn about the artifacts that are featured in the program. We had  parents take pictures of their kids with their favorite toys and they tagged us on Facebook so we could compare with our artifacts. A Word Search was created for kids to do an activity without a computer. The Word Search was featured in the Plymouth Wicked Local, link can be found here . We want to thank Plymouth Wicked Local for featuring our efforts and we look forward to having the program occur in June when there will hopefully be a vaccine.
