Canteen (Barrel)

Wooden barrel canteen

34.13.2: A broken canteen shaped similarly to a barrel, lacking a stopper and containing five grooves upon it’s top and bottom ends. Manufactured in 1775 to be wielded inside the Revolutionary war, the artifact was discovered and donated over a century later, during 1934. The barrel is 4.625 inches tall and carries a diameter of 2.75 inches.
