Music in the Square presents “A Musical Celebration of St Patrick’s Day”

The Danvers Historical Society is teaming up with the Lynnfield Historical Society to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Come join in the fun of Irish traditions as the Danvers Historical Society presents an afternoon of music and songs inspired by the Emerald Isle in “A musical Celebration of St. Patrick’s Day”. Vocals and music will include selections spanning the centuries, from traditional Celtic tunes to songs composed in America inspired by Irish roots.

The first part of the program will feature soloist, Darlene Wigton, who will perform vocals with guitar accompaniment, and provide a bit of historical background for the traditional songs. Then the Tapley Hall Minstrels, featuring our own president, Ron Sarro, will perform some well-known Irish favorites and invite you to sing along!

Bring family and friends to enjoy some Irish music and bring your voices! Song sheets will be provided for the sing-along.

Don’t miss the delicious Irish-themed refreshments that will be served after the concert.
